Dr. Yijun Ge is an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Psychology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he leads the Laboratory for Visual Computation and Neuromodulation.
Dr. Ge's research lies at the intersection of cognitive psychology and neuroscience. He integrates multimodal neuroimaging and intracranial electrophysiology—including 7-Tesla ultra-high-field fMRI, MEG/EEG, and sEEG—with computational modeling to investigate the cognitive and neural mechanisms of complex visual perception, consciousness, and metacognition. He also employs neuromodulation techniques (including transcranial temporal interference stimulation, tTIS) to study the neural plasticity underlying higher-order cognitive functions in the human brain.
He has published as first or corresponding author (including co-first/co-corresponding) in international journals such as Nature Communications and PNAS. He was selected for the Shanghai Overseas High-Level Talent Introduction Program (Youth Project) and the Shanghai Pujiang Program.
The laboratory is continuously recruiting research assistants, Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral fellows. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact him by email.
